Last month marked the one year anniversary of Mt. Zion’s participation in Penn Central Conference’s Road to Vitality program. The fifty-plus members participating in R2V2 completed their small groups study of Unbinding the Gospel in May. Many, many thanks to all who participated in this second round and for their faithful participation!
The R2V2 Teams have compiled quite a list of ideas to develop a culture of invitation. Saturday, June 4th the entire R2V2 team will meet at 9 am in the fellowship hall to group and prioritize these “parking lot” ideas and to launch our 40 Days of Prayer. During the summer months, the 40 Days of Prayer will allow the R2V2 team to strengthen their relationship with God and one another. It will also provide a spiritual basis to nurture the new ideas that have sprung forth. We look forward to this process to help provide the framework for our planning as we move into the fall.
