Advent Faire
Please plan to attend the Advent Faire on Sunday, December 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. to purchase homemade cookies, candies, handmade ornaments, gingerbread houses and more. The proceeds will go to the current fund with a 10% tithe to Mt. Zion’s OCWM commitment for 2011.
Gingerbread Houses will be created to sell at the Advent Faire. Please kindly donate the supplies needed to bake and assemble the houses by signing the sheet in the west narthex. Attention All Bakers! Please bake your favorite cookies/candies and donate them to be sold at the Advent Faire. The price per bag will be $1 so please wrap/bag/package your cookies 4 to 6 per bag prior to dropping them off. Please list on the signup sheet in the narthex the items you will donate. Crafters – We need needlepoint tree decorations and any other great craft you make. Please donate your handmade items to the Advent Faire. The more the merrier and the more successful this will be.

Painting Classes

Kids Pizza and Painting – Cost is $5 for slate, paint and use of brushes. Free Will Offering accepted for the pizza. Adult must be present with children. Jan. 16, Feb. 20, Mar. 26, Apr. 6, and May 11.
Adult Painting – Cost is $15 for slate and paint. If you supply your own surface, please contact Sharon two weeks before for prep instructions for your piece. Dec. 16, Jan. 13, Feb. 17, Mar. 23, Apr. 13 and May 4.
