Volunteers Needed for Financial Secretary & Assistant Financial Secretary
After serving as Financial Secretary for a number of years, Robin Schriver will be stepping downfrom this role at the end of 2026. In addition, Katrina Rhinehart, who has been serving as the Assistant Financial Secretary, has moved out of the area but will continue through the end of the year.
The primary responsibilities of the Financial Secretary include:
- Maintain lists of giving units — members and non-members
- Record all weekly offerings and print report for Church Treasurer’s records
- Maintain all electronic giving E-accounts
- Order and issue offering envelopes annually to all giving units
Core competencies include:
- Good with numbers
- Database experience
- Trustworthy
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Detail oriented
ESTIMATED TIME COMMITMENT: 1 – 2 hours per week; end of year statements – 10 hours
