Townhall Meeting

About The Event

All are invited and encouraged to attend a Townhall meeting on September 20th following worship.

As we have announced in worship, our siblings in Christ at Mt. Zion Lutheran are in need of leaving their church building in the near future, and they have come to our Council asking if they would be able to rent and share space with us. The congregation is not looking to merge but is looking for a sacred space to worship and a congregation to share additional missions and ministry with. Council has heard their hopes and needs and believes it is a conversation that we as a congregation should have on a wider level. On the 20th we will present more fully what Mt. Zion Lutheran has brought to us and then open the space for you to talk, and for us to listen. As both congregations enter into 175 years of ministry, let us prayerfully discern together what God’s future for us as church may hold.
