Meet The Staff
The church has a caring and professional staff that lead Mt. Zion in ministry. To find out more about these individuals, see below.
Mt. Zion is fortunate to have a number of volunteers who assist with duties throughout the church. These include preparing meals, cleaning the building, doing yard work, preparing mailings, and any other tasks which may need to be completed.
Reverend Amy Northridge
Pastor
Rev. Amy Northridge joined us as our Associate Pastor in October 2022 after serving as our transitional pastor starting in May 2021.
Pastor Amy graduated from The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg with a Master’s of Divinity in 2012 and has served the past 9 years as a Pastor at Rohler’s and Salem Lutheran Churches in Dover. Prior to this Pastor Amy served in Hainesport, New Jersey and served as a summer Chaplain primarily in the dementia units at Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg. She served as the Deacon of Spiritual Nurture during her years at Susquehanna University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religion. And she also has a deep love for camping ministries and served as both a summer camp counselor and program director at Camp Nawakwa.
Pastor Amy is married to Pastor Jason Northridge who serves St. John Lutheran Church in Mount Wolf, and they have a son Freddie.
When not doing ministry, Pastor Amy finds deep joy in baking, watching movies, crocheting, playing board games and has a deep love of almost anything Disney.
“As the Associate Pastor at Mt. Zion, I have the joy of working closely with our families and youth. And it makes me feel like Mt. Zion is a grace-filled ministry playground. Whether we’re hitting the fields for games or holding one another in prayer — I’m always in awe at how vulnerably the people of Mt. Zion share of themselves. Christ calls us to be one body — and here at Mt. Zion the body of Christ is alive and, on the move, serving others, engaging in God’s Word, and holding one another in prayer. It is a joy and privilege to get to walk alongside such a loving community.”

I am amazed at the way they reach out to each and every person within the church and within the community and how they make every individual feel welcomed and loved."
